the pronunciation of my name

some people have asked me how to pronounce my username 'pzumk'. i know it's not obvious if you only speak english but it's pretty easy if you're german. here's the explanation:

• in german it's just p zum k, pronounced like you'd expect, /peː tsʊm kaː/

• the english pronunciation would be /peɪ tsuːm kɑː/, but the literal translation is p to (the) k, so you could also just say /piː tuː keɪ/. writing p2k is fine too, some people already got used to abbreviating it that way.

• and in japanese it'd likely be /piː tsɯ̥ mu keː/, written as ピーツムケー
